Self-Help Exercises (14 x e-books)

In this program on selective sound sensitivity (misophonia) you will be guided on doing weekly exercises that help you explore the topic of being sound sensitive during a period of 12 weeks.

You’ll find out how and why your sound sensitivity affects you and how you would like to view it from now on; as a burden, a gift or a message from your own body to you.

We will keep it easy peasy. We suggest doing one activity per week and perhaps together with someone who can support you. You can decide to do one activity per week or one per month. It's entirely up to you.

Seeking relief from Misophonia?

During my personal journey to find relief from misophonia, I've discovered that by not paying attention to the sounds of my own voice and the internal sounds within me, the external sounds tend to affect me more. This realization has led me to believe that by giving more room for the inner sounds, we can achieve a harmonious balance between the sounds around us and the ones within us. As a result, I have named the twelve effective steps to manage sound sensitivity as 'Inner Sound'.

Who is the Inner Sound method for?

If you find yourself being (extremely) sensitive to sounds and want to gain a better understanding of your relationship with them, this program is designed just for you. When sounds become a source of distraction, disgust, or discomfort, it's important to delve deeper into the reasons behind these reactions and discover effective solutions.

This course consists of 14 e-books, each presented in a trigger-free format with only an image on the cover, along with shapes and colors. It offers a 12-step method that is particularly beneficial for individuals dealing with misophonia (selective sound sensitivity). However, it can also be helpful for those who are highly sensitive (HSP), easily distracted (AD(H)D), or experiencing high levels of stress (Burn-out).

What will you receive?

The collection of 14 English journals can be considered as a course or program, or any other name you like. These journals contain simple exercises that guide you through a 4-step process: Healing your pain, Reconditioning yourself, Reframing your Sound Sensitivity, and Rearranging your life. These steps are essential for comprehending your sound sensitivity and making positive changes in your everyday life.

You will be provided with an introduction, 12 sessions, and a Round-It-All-Up session. This course includes a total of 14 journals, and each journal can be easily downloaded as an e-book. These journals will guide you through the journey from clarity to insight to making choices.

Using the journals is as simple as can be! Just keep it easy peasy! My recommendation is to tackle one activity each week, preferably with a buddy. However, you have the flexibility to choose whether to complete one activity per week or one per month. The choice is entirely up to you!
